We are seeking an addition
to our sales team. Prior experience should include: |
 | Proven sales
success in any line of business |
| Insurance experience
preferred, but not required |
| Superior marketing and
networking skills |
| Proven prospecting and
cold-calling skills |
|
|
Responsibilities include: |
| Seek out new clients
using a variety of prospecting, marketing, and networking methods |
| Prepare insurance
proposals and quotations |
| Learn more about the insurance
business and acquire product knowledge |
| Enhance professional
status by attending regular training and continuing education seminars |
| Provide friendly,
professional, ethical service to all clients and people inquiring
about insurance |
| Periodically review
clients' insurance programs and make appropriate insurance
recommendations |
| Maintain client
records with the utmost respect and attention to privacy laws and
requirements |
| Prepare and maintain
reports and records |
|
|
Qualifications & Requirements: |
| Current Montana
producer's license (Property & Casualty) or the ability to study for
and pass appropriate licensing exams prior to hiring |
| Superior marketing and
networking skills |
| Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills a must, along with a friendly
and outgoing personality |
| Skilled in the use of
Microsoft Office Professional applications, web-based applications,
and the Internet, along with the ability to learn new programs and
internet-based applications |
| Reliable
transportation, valid driver' s license, and automobile liability
insurance at required limits |
| Professional
attitude and appearance |
| Passion for
development, growth, and advancement |

| The trainer and support person for this position is
a licensed insurance agent and consultant, and an approved insurance
continuing education provider, with over 30 years experience in the
insurance industry. Ongoing education, training, and
support--both at the administrative and sales levels--will be provided |
